Operation Christmas Child
Everyone in our congregation is invited to once again participate in Samaritans Purse, Operation Christmas Child Shoebox project. Last year our church sent 71 shoeboxes filled with practical and fun supplies for children overseas (along with the 3,051 shoeboxes from all around Door County). This ministry demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and shares the good news of Jesus Christ through Bible lessons for children taught in their local churches.
Feel free to pick up a shoebox and brochure/label beginning November 2. The boxes will be available in the narthex on Sunday, or outside of the Fellowship Room. If you call to let us know you will be picking one up, we will make sure there is one in the drop box for you. The instructions will be included. Return your box to the church office no later than Sunday, November 16. If shopping isn’t your favorite thing, feel free to make a monetary donation towards this project by contacting the church office, and our helpers will fill a shoebox on your behalf! Interfaith Coalition for Housing - Sturgeon Bay
(previously called Ecumenical Partnership for Housing - SB)
The Interfaith Coalition for Housing - Sturgeon Bay (ICH-SB) is working with Door County Medical Center and Habitat for Humanity to renovate homes, which will provide transitional housing for families in need. Currently our church is holding the funds being raised to support these renovations.
