Operation Christmas Child

Everyone in our congregation is invited to participate in Samaritans Purse, Operation Christmas Child Shoebox project. Last year, our church sent 73 shoeboxes filled with practical and fun supplies for children overseas (along with 3,210 shoeboxes from all around Door County). If there are not any OCC boxes left to pick up, you can use any regular sized shoe box to fill for a child. There are labels for the boxes in the narthex and on the bulletin board.  Return your box to the church office no later than Sunday, November 15. If shopping isn’t your favorite thing, feel free to make a monetary donation towards this project by contacting the church office, and our helpers will fill a shoebox on your behalf! Another option is to “Build a Shoebox Online” via this link: https://sampur.se/47zQ0G9 or with the attached QR code, where you can pick your items online or you can donate $25 and OCC will fill and send a box for you. Veterans' Recognition Sunday, November 8

We will pause to honor the Veterans of our congregation who have served or are serving their country through the United States Armed Forces, whether in peacetime or in war. If your information hasn't been listed in past bulletins, and you wish to be included in this list, please contact the church office or email to bongle@sbmoravian.org by November 2. We will need to know the branch of service, date/year(s) served and rank.
