Communion training occurs when a child or youth indicates his or her desire to join the congegation in the sacrament of Holy Communion.  Training occurs at a 1-2 hour workshop lead by the pastor(s) for the young person and parent(s).  Upon completion of the workshop, if the youth indicates he/she feels ready to take communion, he/she writes a statement of faith, which is then published on the Sunday he/she takes first communion.
