Loaves & Fishes Community Meal Programs
There are people in our communities who are emotionally, spiritually and yes, physically hungry. Loaves and Fishes is an ecumenical "free" community meal program created to serve these needs. If you want to serve others, in a significant way, this is the place for you.
In October, 2003 Loaves & Fishes Sturgeon Bay was born. Offering one meal per month at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College it quickly expanded to three meals per month and added new locations in Northern Door and Green Bay.
Loaves and Fishes is an ecumenical labor of love with five partner churches serving the Sturgeon Bay Location, seven partner churches serving Loaves and Fishes North and six partners serving Loaves and Fishes Green Bay.
Meal Schedules and Locations:
Loaves & Fishes Sturgeon Bay
When: First, Third and Fourth Fridays
Time: 5:30-7:00 p.m. Dinner - Continuous Serving
Where: NWTC (Northeast Wisconsin Technical College) 229 North 14th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, WI
Loaves & Fishes North
When: Fourth Tuesdays
Time: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Dinner - Continuous Serving
Where: St. Rosalia's Church, 600 South Bayshore Drive, Sister Bay, WI
Loaves & Fishes Green Bay
When: Fourth Saturdays
Time: 8:00-10:00 a.m. Breakfast. - Continuous Serving
Where: West Side Moravian Church, 1707 South Oneida Street, Green Bay, WI
How Can You Help:
Volunteer - High School Students and Older are encouraged to volunteer. Please indicate your desire to volunteer by sending an email with your name, phone number, how you can help and site location to: sbmc@sbmoravian.org and someone will contact you.
1) Meal prep, site prep, servers and clean up help are always appreciated.
2) Certified food servers or cooks are also needed.
Donate - If you wish to make a cash donation you may do so by making your check payable to "Loaves and Fishes", indicate if you want it designated for a specific site and send it to:
