Part of our spiritual discipline needs to be carving out time each day to center ourselves in Jesus and his love.  The Moravian Daily Text has been a resource since 1728. This simple practice of reading an Old Testament and New Testament verse accompanied by a hymn verse and prayer has been used by Christians around the world for over 280 years.

Dear Fellow Moravians:

Since May 1990, I have had the privilege of serving as the director of music at Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church.  In this position, I have been allowed the freedom of liturgical expression to create resources for use in our worship services.  The resources include liturgies, communion services, and services for special occasions.  At the prompting of my pastor, Rev. Dr. Matthew Knapp, the collection is now being offered to the wider Moravian community.  The decision was made to offer the collection in digital format.  This format makes it possible for a congregation to produce camera-ready copy from a laser printer and to handle printing and binding processes locally.
